Twin Spot Coris Wrasse WYSIWYG
Coris aygula
Reef Safe with Caution
The Twin Spot Coris Wrasse, scientifically known as Coris aygula, is a visually striking species known for its unique juvenile appearance featuring two distinct black spots on a white body with bright orange accents. As it matures, the coloration transforms into a more subdued mix of greens and blues. Although generally peaceful, this wrasse is considered reef safe with caution due to its tendency to prey on small invertebrates like crabs, shrimp, and snails. The Twin Spot Coris Wrasse thrives in well-established tanks with sandy substrates for burrowing and ample live rock for hiding, making it a fascinating addition to larger marine aquariums.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
