Reef Safe
The Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse (Paracheilinus carpenteri) is a brilliantly colored and active species, known for its dynamic displays of flashing fins, particularly during courtship or in the presence of other males. Its body features a vibrant mix of red, orange, and yellow hues, often accented with striking blue or purple highlights along its elongated fins. As a reef-safe species, the Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse poses no threat to corals or invertebrates, making it an excellent choice for reef aquariums. It thrives in tanks with plenty of live rock for hiding and exploration, and prefers a well-maintained environment with stable water parameters. Peaceful and hardy, this wrasse is suitable for both novice and experienced aquarists, bringing energy and vivid color to any reef setup.
