The Red General Starfish, also known as the Red Knob Sea Star, has a thick body with red horns on its legs. Though when small, it eats algae; when it grows older, it is not reef safe and will eat corals, sponges, tubeworms, clams, starfishes and other invertebrates. They should be fed chopped clams, shrimp, fish, and squid once a week.
