The Gold Coral Banded Shrimp, sometimes called boxing shrimp, are distinguishable by their large claws that are held erect. They spend their day in full view, searching for food. They should be kept with lots of room so their antennae and claws won’t hit any anemones or corals. The shrimp must be kept by itself or with a mate because it will harass other smaller shrimp. They can be fed flaked, frozen, and meaty foods. They will also feed on bristleworms to keep the population under control.
