Reef Safe with Caution

The Golden Angelfish, also known as the Golden Dwarf Angelfish, is a radiant marine fish distinguished by its vibrant golden-yellow body with striking black accents around the eyes and fins. Its bright coloration and relatively small size make it an eye-catching addition to any reef aquarium. While the Golden Angelfish is generally hardy, it is considered reef safe with caution, as it may nip at soft corals and small invertebrates, especially if it is not sufficiently fed. To mitigate this behavior, provide a varied diet rich in algae and offer ample live rock for grazing and hiding. The Golden Angelfish thrives in tanks with plenty of hiding spots and a stable environment, making it a beautiful and manageable choice for aquarists with moderate experience.
