The Midnight Angelfish, also known as the Black Nox Angelfish, is a striking marine fish characterized by its deep, velvety black coloration that covers its entire body. This unique appearance makes it a standout addition to any marine aquarium. Despite its small size, the Midnight Angelfish is known for its hardy nature and adaptability. However, it is considered reef safe with caution, as it may occasionally nip at soft corals and small invertebrates, especially if not adequately fed. Providing a diet rich in algae and plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding can help reduce this behavior. The Midnight Angelfish thrives in tanks with numerous hiding spots and a stable environment, making it a suitable and attractive addition for aquarists with moderate experience.
