The Orange Shoulder Tang, also known as the Olive Tang, features a vibrant coloration with a green to olive body and a distinctive orange or yellow patch on its shoulder, giving it a striking appearance. It has a streamlined body and a robust, efficient grazing ability, making it excellent for controlling algae growth. This tang is generally reef safe but can display mild territorial behavior, particularly toward other tangs. It thrives in well-established aquariums with ample live rock for grazing and plenty of swimming space. The Orange Shoulder Tang is a dynamic and visually appealing addition to medium to large reef tanks.
