The Peppermint Shrimp, though part of the “cleaner shrimp” group, is more like a scavenger. It feeds on detritus, waste, and decomposing material on rocks. The peppermint shrimp most well-known for its ability to consume glass anemones which are seen as pests. This social and peaceful shrimp should be fed frozen foods, flaked foods, or pieces of fresh fish.
