The Powder Blue Hybrid Tang, a cross between the Powder Blue Tang (Acanthurus leucosternon) and the Whitecheek Tang (Acanthurus nigricans), showcases a striking blend of vibrant blue and black coloration with hints of yellow. This hybrid combines the beauty and active nature of its parent species while maintaining strong algae-grazing capabilities. Though generally reef safe, it can be territorial, especially around other tangs, and requires ample swimming space and live rock for grazing. Ideal for large, well-established aquariums, this hybrid brings both functionality and visual appeal to a reef setup.
