The Spikefin Goby, also known as Griessinger's Goby, is a tiny yet captivating marine fish recognized for its bright red body adorned with intricate patterns of yellow and white. This goby is one of the smallest marine fish available for home aquariums, making it a delicate and unique addition to nano reefs or peaceful community tanks. The Spikefin Goby is reef safe and prefers to inhabit crevices and small caves, often associating with pistol shrimp in a symbiotic relationship. It thrives in well-established aquariums with plenty of live rock and hiding spots, and it requires a calm, stable environment with minimal competition from larger or more aggressive fish. Due to its specialized care needs, the Spikefin Goby is best suited for experienced aquarists.
