This colorful appearance makes the Starkii Damsel a popular choice for marine aquariums. The Starkii Damsel is generally considered reef safe and is known for its hardy nature, making it a good addition to reef tanks. However, like many damsels, it may exhibit territorial behavior, particularly in smaller tanks or when housed with other damsels. Providing plenty of hiding spots and territories can help reduce aggression. The Starkii Damsel thrives in well-established aquariums with stable water conditions and ample swimming space, making it a suitable choice for aquarists with moderate experience.
