Parupeneus barberinoides
Reef Safe With Caution
The Bicolor Goatfish is a bold and active bottom-dweller known for its burgundy front half, yellow tail, and distinctive white band across the body. Accented with blue markings and a signature black spot near the tail, this eye-catching fish constantly sifts through the sand using its barbels to hunt for small invertebrates, helping to naturally aerate the substrate. Best suited for aquariums of 125 gallons or more, it prefers peaceful tank mates and plenty of open space. Due to its high metabolism, it should be fed small portions of meaty frozen foods multiple times a day. Hardy, unique, and always on the move, the Bicolor Goatfish adds energy and utility to large marine aquariums.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
Due to variations within species, your item may not look identical to the image.
Measurements are measured from the tip of the head to end of the tail.
