Amphiprion nigripes
Reef Safe
The Blackfoot Clownfish (Amphiprion nigripes) is a peaceful, medium-sized clownfish from the Skunk complex, easily recognized by its bright orange-red body, single white head stripe, and distinctive black pelvic and anal fins. Hardy and easy to feed, it thrives on a varied diet of pellets, flakes, and frozen foods. Best kept in pairs, this hermaphroditic species naturally establishes a dominant female. While often associated with Heteractis magnifica in the wild, it adapts well to life without an anemone, finding shelter among rocks or corals. Ideal for community tanks, it’s best introduced before more aggressive tankmates.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
