Although generally hardy, it is considered reef safe with caution, as it may occasionally nip at soft corals and small invertebrates if not adequately fed. Providing a varied diet rich in algae and ensuring ample live rock for grazing and hiding can help reduce such behavior. The Blue Angelfish thrives in tanks with plenty of hiding spots and a stable environment, making it a beautiful and manageable addition for experienced aquarists.
