Centropyge colini
Reef Safe with Caution
Colin’s Angelfish is a rarely encountered dwarf angelfish known for its brilliant yellow body contrasted by deep blue coloration along the back and dorsal fin. Naturally found in deeper reef environments, this species prefers an established aquarium of 70 gallons or larger with abundant rockwork, caves, and shaded areas where it can retreat while becoming accustomed to its surroundings. It is generally shy and peaceful but should be kept with caution in reef aquariums, as it may occasionally nip at SPS corals and other sessile invertebrates. A varied diet featuring marine algae, Spirulina, mysis shrimp, and quality angelfish preparations will help maintain its health and vibrant coloration. Its unusual appearance and limited availability make Colin’s Angelfish an excellent choice for experienced aquarists seeking a distinctive dwarf angel.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
