Reef Safe
The Earle's Fairy Wrasse is a rare and dazzling reef-safe wrasse known for its vibrant coloration, small size, and active personality, making it a prized addition to peaceful marine aquariums. This species reaches only about 3 inches in length, making it ideal for smaller reef setups. Males display especially brilliant hues, which intensify during courtship, while overall coloration can shift subtly with mood and lighting. Best introduced as one of the final additions to the tank, Earle’s Fairy Wrasses may be shy at first and are occasionally harassed by more aggressive species. They thrive in groups if housed appropriately and prefer a well-balanced diet of frozen meaty foods, high-quality marine pellets, and occasional seaweed for variety. Due to their constant activity and small size, multiple daily feedings are ideal. Like most wrasses, they are excellent jumpers, so a secure, covered lid is essential. Beautiful, peaceful, and full of personality, this species is a standout for experienced reef enthusiasts looking to add rare color and motion to their tank.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
