Hass's Garden Eel, also known as the Spotted Garden Eel, is a captivating marine fish recognized for its unique behavior of burrowing into sandy substrates, with only its head and upper body protruding to feed on plankton. It has a slender body with a white to pale yellow coloration, covered in small black spots. These eels are reef safe and thrive in peaceful community tanks with soft, deep sandy bottoms where they can create burrows. They require a stable, well-established aquarium environment with gentle water flow to feel secure and display their natural behavior, making them a fascinating addition for experienced aquarists.
