The Lieutenant Tang, also known as Tennent's Tang, is recognized for its sleek, streamlined body and vibrant coloration. It features a blue-gray body with distinctive bright yellow accents along its fins and tail, adding a striking visual appeal. This tang is an effective algae grazer and is generally considered reef safe, though it may display mild territorial behavior, particularly toward other tangs. It thrives in well-established aquariums with ample live rock for grazing and plenty of swimming space. Ideal for medium to large reef tanks, the Lieutenant Tang combines both beauty and functionality.
