Thalassoma lunare
Not Reef Safe
The Lunar Wrasse, also known as the Moon Wrasse, is a colorful and energetic fish, easily recognized by its vibrant blue, green, and yellow hues, along with its crescent-shaped tail. This highly active swimmer adds dynamic movement to any tank, constantly exploring its environment. While its striking colors and lively nature make it a popular choice, the Lunar Wrasse is not reef safe, as it has a tendency to eat small invertebrates, crustaceans, and even smaller fish. It thrives in larger, fish-only systems with plenty of hiding spots and open swimming space. The Lunar Wrasse is hardy and easy to care for, making it suitable for aquarists who want a bold and active species for a non-reef aquarium.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
Due to variations within species, your item may not look identical to the image.
