Reef Safe With Caution
The Magma Fairy Wrasse is a striking red-orange wrasse. Native to volcanic reef slopes in the northern Philippines. Like other fairy wrasses, it is peaceful, active, and well-suited for reef or fish-only aquariums of 50 gallons or larger, provided there is plenty of live rock for shelter and swimming space. While generally reef-safe, caution is advised with smaller ornamental inverts. A male can be kept with multiple females if they are introduced at the same time, and a secure lid is recommended since wrasses are known jumpers. Their diet should include vitamin-enriched mysis and brine shrimp, other meaty frozen foods, and high-quality marine flakes or pellets.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
Measurements are measured from the tip of the head to end of the tail.
Approximate Measurement: M: 2.5 inches / F: 1.5 inches
