The Nebula Clownfish (Amphiprion percula, designer variant) is a dazzling Picasso morph known for its ethereal, milky-white patterns that evoke the swirling beauty of distant galaxies. Unlike traditional Picasso markings, the Nebula's patterns have soft, undefined edges, giving each fish a truly one-of-a-kind, celestial appearance. Some specimens even display deep onyx coloration, adding further contrast and allure. These fish are carefully graded based on the extent and rarity of their nebula-like patterns, making each one a prized addition for collectors and enthusiasts. Like all percula clownfish, the Nebula is a sequential hermaphrodite, with the dominant individual becoming female and the second largest maturing as male. Their peaceful temperament and tendency to ignore corals and invertebrates make them reef-safe and compatible with most community aquariums. While they may adopt various corals or algae in place of a traditional host anemone, they thrive in well-maintained reef environments. Captive-bred Nebula Clownfish eagerly accept pellets, flakes, and frozen foods such as Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, ocean plankton, and chopped squid, making them both beautiful and easy to care for.
