The Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse (Cirrhilabrus rubrimarginatus) is a vibrant, peaceful addition to reef or fish-only aquariums, ideal for tanks 80 gallons or larger. These fish are often seen swimming in small social groups. Males are especially eye-catching, showcasing vivid coloration and bold red edging on their tail and dorsal fin, colors that intensify during courtship or when the fish is excited. Females and juveniles tend to be more subdued but still carry soft, iridescent hues. Color patterns may shift slightly depending on mood or environment.

Perfect for reef tanks, the Pink Margin Fairy Wrasse is non-aggressive and safe around corals and invertebrates. It’s an active swimmer that brings constant movement and flashes of color to the mid and upper water columns. However, this species is known for jumping, so a tightly sealed lid is essential to prevent escapes.

To keep them thriving, offer a diverse diet of vitamin-enriched frozen mysis and brine shrimp, along with quality marine flakes and pellets. Their gentle temperament and bold appearance make them a favorite among aquarists looking to add peaceful energy and vivid color to their setup.
