Scarus quoyi
Reef Safe
The Quoyi Parrotfish, also known as the Greenblotch Parrotfish, is recognized for its striking coloration and active grazing behavior, this species plays a key role in maintaining healthy reef ecosystems by feeding on algae that can otherwise overgrow corals. Quoyi Parrotfish can reach up to 16 inches in length and is best suited for large, well-established marine aquariums with plenty of swimming space and live rock to graze on. Generally peaceful in nature, it adds both color and ecological balance to reef environments. A varied diet of algae-based foods, supplemented with marine pellets and frozen offerings, will help support its health and vivid appearance.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
Due to variations within species, your item may not look identical to the image.
