The Sakura Anthias is one of the largest and most striking Anthias reaching nearly 10 inches in full length. These fish are prized for both their beauty and hardiness. Unlike many Anthias, they are enthusiastic eaters that readily consume larger foods such as whole krill or chopped shrimp, requiring less frequent feedings. Though naturally from cooler waters, they adapt well to typical reef aquarium temperatures and generally coexist peacefully with most tank mates, aside from very small fish that could fit in their mouths. Their vibrant coloration, ease of care, and calm temperament make them a standout choice for both novice and experienced collectors.
