Chaetodon tinkeri
Not Reef Safe
The Tinkeri Butterflyfish is a striking deepwater species known for its contrasting color pattern, white with delicate black speckles toward the front of its body and a bold black coloration toward the rear. Accents of yellow and orange brighten its face, dorsal fin, and tail, making it a visually captivating addition to a marine tank. This butterflyfish thrives in aquariums of 100 gallons or more and best suited for fish-only systems, as it may nip at various corals, anemones, and other reef invertebrates. A well-rounded diet of enriched mysis and brine shrimp, supplemented with meaty foods and some vegetable matter, will help maintain its health and coloration.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
Measurements are measured from the tip of the head to end of the tail.
