Two Spot Bristletooth Tang
Two Spot Bristletooth Tang
Ctenochaetus binotatus
Reef Safe
The Two Spot Bristletooth Tang, known for its algae-eating abilities, features a brownish-gray body with two small, pale spots near its eyes and subtle blue highlights. This reef-safe fish is an excellent grazer, using its bristle-like teeth to clean algae from rocks and tank surfaces. Peaceful by nature, it can coexist well with other species, though it may exhibit mild territorial behavior toward other tangs. Ideal for medium to large, well-established aquariums with ample live rock for grazing, it adds both function and beauty to a reef tank.
These fish are for saltwater aquariums only.
