The Whitetail Kole Tang is a hardy and attractive fish appreciated for its deep brown body adorned with fine blue horizontal stripes and a distinctive yellow ring around its eyes. Native to the reefs of the Pacific Ocean, this tang is an excellent algae grazer, playing a crucial role in maintaining a clean and balanced reef environment. The Kole Tang is generally peaceful but may show territorial behavior towards other tangs. It thrives in a well-established aquarium with ample swimming space and plenty of live rock to graze on. Its beneficial algae-eating habits, coupled with its striking appearance, make the Kole Tang a valued addition to any reef tank.
