The Woodhead Angelfish is a vibrant and eye-catching marine species and is easily identified by its brilliant yellow body and the distinct jet-black marking across the rear portion of its dorsal fin. Like many dwarf angels, it brings both color and energy to established marine aquariums. Best kept in tanks of at least 70 gallons, this species thrives with ample live rock for grazing and plenty of hiding spots. While generally peaceful, it may occasionally nip at large-polyped stony corals and clam mantles in reef setups. A varied diet including Spirulina, marine algae, mysis shrimp, and high-quality angelfish-specific foods will help maintain its health and vibrant coloration.
